Roeland joined the staff of DESS in August 2011 as Business Manager, working closely with Senior Management.   Having worked in school administration for over 33 years, in Australia and recently at the American School of Doha, Roeland brings with him a wealth of experience.   An avid traveller, Roeland enjoys backpacking holidays and has travelled to the far corners of the globe over the past ten years. His wife Julie, who previously worked in Doha, now lives in their new home on the Gold Coast, Australia, close to their four children. Roeland is pleased to be part of the restructuring of the business side of the school.
