Privately Run Extra Curricular Activities
DESS also makes its facilities available to other groups for classes run on a fee-paying basis. These include :-

• DESS Gym Club: The club is run by a British qualified coach. Classes are determined by the child’s ability and age and are open for children from 3 years of age and above.
• Group tennis lessons are held on site after school and are run by local tennis professionals.
• Classes in sailing and golf are also arranged through DESS, but these are held off-site.

There are many other activities open to children in Qatar, to suit all ages and interests – including ceramics, languages, scouts and brownies, rugby, football, karate, dancing, singing, musical instruments and many more. Please ask us for a list of activities when visiting our school.

DESS regularly hosts inter-school sporting events with the other private schools and associations in Qatar, both on a formal and informal basis. DESS is a founder member and active supporter of the School Sports Association in Qatar.
