House Teams

It has been a tradition at DESS for more than a generation for children to be placed one of four house teams:

The four teams form the basis of an awards system for excellent work and exceptional and consistent effort. Children accumulate house points for themselves (to gain certificates) and for their team. The House with the most points at the end of each term wins the House Point Trophy.

Sporting events are also arranged within the House system, where special trophies are played for at various dates in the school calendar.
