No matter how long it has been since you last entered those heavy red metal gates, we know that DESS remains a very special place for many, with countless fond memories.

We would like to invite anyone who was once part of the ‘DESS Community’ to get in touch with the school.  We would like to keep in contact and let you know our news, our current and future initiatives, and to invite you to any key events we hold. We would also love to hear your news about what you have been doing since your days at DESS, either here in Qatar or elsewhere in the world.

As an ex-pupil or staff member of DESS there are plenty of opportunities to stay involved with our school if you wish. We are always delighted to have guest speakers and would welcome opportunities to organise workshops and activities that would enable Alumni to share their interests, expertise and passion with our pupil body.

Academic year 2021 - 2022 marks a new chapter as we opened the doors to Year 7 students for the first time. We will follow Year 7 with the Opening of Year 8 in September 2022 to become the only not-for-profit Preparatory School in Qatar.

Our history is immensely important to us. Our Alumni play a huge part in that.
We are seeking to establish stronger ties with our Alumni and intend to form a network of contacts alongside an Alumni portal on our website.
