MINISTRY OF EDUCATION FEE SCHEDULE 

*This is a non-refundable one time only fee for every new child starting at DESS.

**This is a non-refundable fee, payable in advance, for all children reserving a place for the Autumn Term. The SRF will be offset against Tuition Fees for the Autumn Term.

***This fee will only apply if an assessment is required for years 1-8.

ACCEPTANCE OF AN OFFERED PLACE

Upon acceptance of an offered place, the Accounts Office will prepare an invoice. The invoice will be for one term’s school fees and the registration fee. Payment guidelines and a due date will appear on the invoice. This invoice must be settled in full by the due date as stated on the invoice to secure your child’s place.

Please note:
Invigilation fees and related courier charges for entry assessments for other schools, are in addition to the tuition fees quoted above and are payable to DESS by the parent/guardian. Any enquiries regarding external tests, on behalf of another school, contact our Registrar.

LEAVING DESS

Procedure For Leaving DESS

If you will be withdrawing your child from DESS it is important that you let us know as soon as possible so that we can give you the appropriate paperwork for your child's next school.

We would ask that you follow the guidelines below:

  • We require a minimum of one term's notice in writing before your child's last day at DESS (excluding holidays).
  • All books must be returned to the library at least two weeks prior to your child's leaving date. If you have lost any of your books, the librarian will issue an invoice for the value of a replacement book; once the payment has been received at our Finance Office, we can provide you with your paperwork.
  • Any other books received in class should be returned to your class teacher/tutor.
  • Written notice should be submitted to the Registrar by completing and returning the Leavers Notification Form by email or hard copy.
  • Emails should be addressed to registrar@dess.org and hard copies can be returned directly to the school office.

This applies to all year groups with the exception of the end of Year 8 (end of Summer Term/ end of Term 3).
